Where this data comes from
Every listing is built from the Maine Board of Accountancy's public roster of licensees, as of September 25, 2026. From it we publish each CPA's name, mailing city and license number, and each licensed firm's name, town and responsible CPA. We leave out the street addresses and phone numbers the board also lists, so this directory tells you who holds an active license rather than how to reach their home.
We publish only the 1,310 licensees whose license is active and who are based in Maine, and 251 licensed firms with a Maine location. Another 856 active licensees are registered in other states or abroad; they are listed separately.
